Frantz Hingelberg; Danish doctoral ring of 14k gold. Front in 23k gold with motif of Minerva surrounded by a laurel wreath.The motif of Athena/Minerva, the Greco-Roman goddess of science, has been used for doctoral rings in Denmark since 1866.
